The DLC coating does not reflect. It absorbs — light, attention, the need to explain itself. Applied at the molecular level through plasma deposition, it is harder than the steel beneath it and carries none of its vanity.

The ivory dial was chosen not for brightness but for contrast. Against the black case it reads like a page torn from something ancient. The day complication disc was engraved by hand until the lettering felt less like information and more like a ritual.

• Dial: Ivory grain lacquer, hand-applied in 2 coats, aged-parchment texture
• Case: DLC-coated 316L steel, zero visible reflections, exhibition caseback
• Movement: SF-2026 automatic, 27 jewels, côtes de Genève decoration, signed rotor
